Motivation
Our motivation for this project is two-fold:
1. Going Green
2 User Convenience
As mentioned above, achieving the "green" aspect is very significant in the modern environment critical society and hence this is our major incentive for this project. By controlling the light on time as well as using blinder control we wish to conserve energy exploited in home and commercial lighting systems. Also, it is our wish to design an automated lighting system that is connected to the internet to reduce the consumer effort involved in day to day life.
A Smart Lighting Project has tremendous marketing potential in today's technologically stimulating world. Be it in the form of high end consumer market and business to even entertainment and healthcare, smart lighting will find its way into numerous applications world wide. The scope for adding that some thing more always exists and that is what makes this project so exciting and fruitful.
